At the “Egg Party” Developer Conference held on July 11, several sets of data displayed on the big screen stood out: a cumulative consumption of 1 billion Gold Beans in the game, over 5 billion ad views, and total annual rewards exceeding 200 million.Previously, the official announcement revealed that global registered users had surpassed 700 million, with over 50 million UGC creators—including more than 100 officially registered professional studios. Top creators earn annual incomes exceeding 10 million, and a single viral hit can generate up to 5 million in revenue. These staggering figures have long made it clear: *Egg Party* is not just a playground for tens of millions of players, but also fertile ground where people can cultivate their creative dreams.

And it is precisely this group of creators in the audience—each with their own unique experiences and vastly different backgrounds—who have sown the seeds of creativity in this fertile ground.
Born in 1992, “Little Chubby Qu” (hereinafter referred to as “Little Chubby”) spent ten years as a “cog in the machine” in the real estate industry. Unwilling to be confined to a monotonous life, he made the leap into the UGC creation arena through Danzai.By chance, he met “The Indestructible Painter,” who specializes in visual arts. With their complementary strengths, the two joined forces to establish the Shanyao Jiangxing Studio, ushering in a second spring for their careers in this new field.
"Langlang11," a longtime Egg Boy player, has channeled his passion to gradually bring his wildest ideas to life, crafting more than 20 distinctive maps. Over the past three years, he has successfully transformed from an ordinary player into a top creator recognized by a wider audience.
“It’s Mo Tangtang.” (Hereinafter referred to as “Mo Tangtang”) This professional team, which has been active on various UGC platforms for many years, quickly entered the market and established a presence after learning about the DanZai ecosystem, bringing more high-quality creative content and more sophisticated development approaches to the platform.
These creators, who come from all age groups and backgrounds, gather in the Danzai World to freely express their creativity and earn recognition from players. They’ve turned their passion into a sustainable career and, through a steady stream of high-quality content, continue to drive the Danzai UGC ecosystem toward prosperity and growth.
01
When the “Cog in the Machine” Finds Its Home
Yueban’s connection with *Egg Party* began with an unexpected surprise.
In 2023, at his niece’s recommendation, he visited Egg Island for the first time. During his first try at the blind box game, he won the highly valuable Supreme Hidden Skin “Sonic Boom Star” for free. This stroke of luck not only turned him into a devoted Egg Island player but also inadvertently opened the door to the world of creativity for him.
“As real estate planners, what we crave most is the ability to turn the ideas in our minds into reality.” Driven by that “desire to create”—deeply ingrained in his professional DNA—Yueban sensed the limitless possibilities here the moment he encountered “Danzai Workshop.”
He uploaded a “Lao Liu” map just to see how it would go, and to his surprise, it went viral on his very first try, with the number of plays quickly approaching one million.“I used to be a content creator making fan-made game videos—back then, a few thousand likes was considered a hit—but my very first map broke the one-million mark right away.” This sudden public recognition gave him an unprecedented sense of accomplishment.

He then capitalized on his momentum, applying the “competitor research” approach commonly used in the real estate industry to analyze nearly every project ranked in the top 200.After gaining a deep understanding of the market, his maps earned increasingly positive reviews, and his follower count skyrocketed. Once his creative work generated enough revenue to support himself, he made a bold decision: to leave the real estate industry—where he had spent a decade—and make a complete transition to becoming a full-time UGC creator.
For Yueban, this cross-industry transition felt like a form of liberation. “In the real estate industry, I was like a ‘cog in the machine.’ Although I lived a respectable life, I constantly felt like I was being shuffled around, unable to find meaning in my existence.” This sense of being drained once made him feel suffocated. But at DanZai Paradise, every time he sees the maps he’s built with his own hands being experienced and loved by thousands upon thousands of players, he feels a surge of surprise and excitement. He says, “In my entire career, I’ve never felt this kind of passion before.”
Driven by this momentum, Yueban has created a total of four hit maps, each with over 10 million plays—it’s worth noting that in the entire Eggland, maps reaching this level of play count are considered landmark achievements, demonstrating Yueban’s remarkable ability to create hit content.

"The Song of the Chubby Girl with a Full Moon Face." Work
His rapid growth and impressive metrics quickly drew the attention of more creators, including his future collaborator, “The Indestructible Painter.”
Born in 2004, this teenager is a full 12 years younger than Yueban. Unlike Yueban, who took up art later in life, “The Indestructible Painter”—a fine arts major—began experimenting with Danzai art while still on college campus.
While most creators were competing to come up with new gameplay mechanics, he charted his own course, focusing on creating maps designed for visual enjoyment. His relentless pursuit of visual atmosphere and impact quickly set him apart from the crowd. To this day, Yueban still speaks highly of his work: “Those visual effects that transform Egg Island into a spectacle of sound, light, and electricity are in a league of their own within the community.”

"The Indestructible Painting": Representative Works
Yueban excels at programming, while Shabu Bu Si Hua is a master of art. Their collaboration represents a classic “complementary” partnership of equals within the DanZai UGC ecosystem.
With the support and assistance of the game’s official team, the Shiny Artisan Studio—founded by the two of them—was officially established and launched in Chengdu this past April. Today, this team—which has been in operation for just three months—has emerged as a strong dark horse, consistently ranking in the top 20 of the popularity charts thanks to its remarkable production efficiency and consistently high-quality content.
In *Egg Party*, there are many other stories like those of Yueban and Shabuosi Hua, in which a pure passion for creativity has grown into a career.
Take Langlang11, a biology graduate student, for example. After getting hooked on *Egg Party* in late 2022, he dove headfirst into the Egg Workshop: “I’ve always loved creating content, and I’ve tried just about every game on the market that offers UGC features.” The Egg Party mobile editor has a low barrier to entry and is easy to use; you can quickly create highly polished maps using just a smartphone. This convenient creative experience immediately captivated him.
His first puzzle map, which took him a week to complete, received widespread acclaim after its release, and the developers quickly took notice of this promising creator and reached out to him early on.Langlang11 mentioned that whether he was seeking advice on technical issues or looking for creative partners, he always received prompt responses from the operations and development teams. This efficient support system provided him with strong motivation to keep moving forward.
Driven by both the success of his work and official incentives, he became completely absorbed in the world of Danzai, and over the next three years of his graduate studies, he devoted nearly all his free time to creating in the workshop. This passion made his college life exceptionally fulfilling. To refine his work, he taught himself 3D modeling and other related technologies, producing more than twenty original maps and successfully securing a spot among the top creators in the humanoid character design category.
By combining dress-up and photo-sharing gameplay, he created the character-based dress-up map *Shining Stella*, which not only went viral overnight but also maintained long-term popularity for an entire year. Both player engagement and sales of “Golden Beans” quickly surpassed 10 million, making it one of the platform’s most representative high-quality, long-running titles.

LanggLang11's representative work "Shining Stella"
Now, having just graduated, Langlang 11 has already set a clear course for his future. He is currently preparing to form his own creative team, ready to embark on a new journey in Danzai Paradise—one that marks the transition from “going it alone” to “teamwork.”
While Yueban, "The Indestructible Painting," and Langlang 11 were carving out a niche for themselves through their passion, a large number of professional development teams with extensive cross-platform development experience also began flocking to Danzai Paradise—the Mo Tangtang team being a prime example.
Founded in 2021, this team consists primarily of core members with professional backgrounds or work experience in game development. Before joining Danzai, this “professional team” had already established a strong presence on multiple UGC platforms both domestically and internationally, with cumulative plays across all platforms exceeding 500 million and more than 10 individual titles each surpassing 10 million plays.
With such an experienced team, their reasons for joining *Egg Party* are even more pragmatic. Mo Tangtang candidly stated: “‘Egg Party’ boasts a vibrant and massive user ecosystem, with enormous potential across various categories, meaning our content can achieve a higher ceiling of value. Furthermore, the official team has rolled out a sincere support program: signed studios can work with dedicated operations staff and unlock advanced editor privileges—all of which provide very tangible support for studios.’”
In April of this year, after the release of their first map, “Steal Your Car,” on DanZai Paradise, they achieved solid results in terms of player engagement, word-of-mouth, and commercial revenue. This initial success further solidified the team’s determination to focus on the “Danzai” project. They subsequently assigned eight people exclusively to the “Danzai” project’s development—a significant investment for a team with a total of only 21 members.

It's Mo Tangtang's work, "Stealing Your Car."
Mo Tangtang believes that only by assembling a highly skilled team can they establish an absolute competitive advantage in both content quality and production efficiency. Although they are still in the early stages of developing “Danzai Paradise,” he firmly believes that as their portfolio of works grows and gameplay concepts are validated, “Danzai” will likely become the team’s primary revenue generator in the future.

The Industry's First "Twin Star" Editor Makes Its Debut
As creators continue to grow, DanZai Workshop is also constantly updating and evolving.
Yueban recalled that many new users may not realize that the original DanZai Workshop did not have a coding feature. The subsequent launch of the visual programming feature “DanCode” marked a watershed moment in the realm of creation, instantly propelling creators’ development capabilities from a “primitive” to a “modern” level.
For "The Undying Painting," the launch of the custom model feature is equally significant. "This feature allows creators to import external model assets, freeing them from the limitations of the official built-in components and greatly expanding the creative possibilities for map content."
Mo Tangtang also felt this keenly; in the few short months since they joined Eggland, they’ve already experienced several iterations of the editor. In particular, the launch of the PC editor has significantly boosted the team’s development efficiency. “The PC editor supports Lua scripting, which aligns perfectly with our team’s familiar workflow. It also offers basic collaborative development features, and the ability for multiple people to work in parallel has taken our efficiency to the next level.”
Now, DanZai Workshop is about to undergo another major update. In addition to the existing DanZai Origin Editor (frame-synchronized), a brand-new DanZai World Editor (state-synchronized) will be launched.

In comparison, the previous Egg Boy Origin Editor had a low learning curve and strong synchronization stability, making it particularly well-suited for creating lightweight gameplay modes—such as racing, platforming, and real-time PvP—where all players start simultaneously and the gameplay is short and straightforward; In contrast, the newly launched Egg Boy World Editor offers greater creative freedom and can support large-scale open-world content, making it perfectly suited for long-term gameplay modes—such as RPGs, open-world games, and large social communities—where players can join and leave at any time and the environment continues to run. The two are also known as the Egg Boy “Twin Star” editors.
Once the Egg World Editor launches, *Egg Party* will become the industry’s first UGC platform to support both frame-synchronization and state-synchronization. Creators will be able to use it to freely create map content of any theme and scale. Additionally, the game’s developers will allocate 100 million to launch an exclusive incentive program for works created using the World Editor.

In response, many developers are eager to get started, and both the Langlang11 and Mo Tangtang teams have already drawn up specific plans. Langlang11 has even explicitly stated that, given the inherent social nature of dress-up maps and the need for long-term operation, he may shift the development of all his future projects to the Egg Boy World Editor.
At the same time, Danzai’s “Twin Stars” editor has integrated the industry’s most cutting-edge large language models, such as DeepSeek V4, GLM-5.2, and Kimi K2.7 Code, truly enabling AI technology to permeate the entire creative process. To date, Danzai has achieved significant milestones in application scenarios such as AIGC 3D asset generation, AI Q&A assistants, and AI-assisted Lua programming.

As part of the closed beta testing team for the Egg World Editor, Mo Tangtang has firsthand experience with how the built-in AI model boosts creative efficiency. Their latest map was created using the Egg World Editor.Mo Tangtang revealed that the editor’s built-in AI tools played a crucial role in this development, significantly reducing the burden of repetitive tasks such as resource generation and logic setup. As a result, the entire process—from the team familiarizing themselves with the engine to the map’s completion and launch—took less than two weeks.
It is foreseeable that the full implementation of AI tools in the DanZai Editor will further lower the barrier to content creation, giving every ordinary player with creative ideas the opportunity to create rich and diverse content.
03
The First Year of Explosive Growth in Commercialization and Creative Revenue
Continuous improvements to editors and AI tools are lowering the barrier to entry for content creation, while a comprehensive and diverse monetization system has addressed creators’ long-standing concerns about earnings.Today, Danzai Paradise has fully established multiple UGC monetization channels—including traffic incentives, advertising, in-app purchases, sponsorships, and tournaments—helping more than 60 professional studios achieve stable profitability.
As mentioned earlier, 2025 marked the first year of commercialization for Egg Boy Paradise. Throughout the year, the platform saw cumulative consumption of over 1 billion Golden Beans, ad impressions exceeded 5 billion, and the total amount of incentives distributed to creators surpassed 200 million yuan.

Mo Tangtang, who has been deeply involved in the UGC industry for many years, said, “Among the UGC platforms we’ve encountered, Danzai is one of the few that still maintains a traffic-based incentive policy—and here, traffic incentives actually account for a larger share than commercial incentives.”He believes the greatest value of this system lies in putting the power of choice back in the hands of creators: creators do not have to blindly focus on developing commercial products to generate revenue; as long as they can produce high-quality maps that players love, they can earn a decent return solely through traffic incentives.
However, as the Teahouse learned during interviews, whether it was Langlang 11 or Yueban, these indie developers who built their projects from the ground up have all felt embarrassed and torn at times, worried that introducing paid content too hastily might alienate players and betray their trust.
Langlang11 admitted that it wasn’t until he tried it himself that he realized players’ acceptance of reasonable monetization far exceeded his expectations: “Players can see the hard work developers put into the game, and many of them are willing to pay for that effort.“After I launched *Shining Stella*, which includes paid content, not only did I not disappoint my subscribers, but I actually gained even more fans—my subscriber count skyrocketed from over 400,000 to 1.2 million.”
After Yueban made this shift in mindset, it also explored two distinct monetization strategies: one involved creating “light monetization” content, selling low-priced “Little Gold Beans” items to encourage players to make small purchases while enjoying a relaxed gaming experience; the other focused on developing “stat-based monetization” maps, capitalizing on players’ desire to grow and become stronger in the game to generate revenue.
Guided by these two paths, Shanyao Jiangxin has successfully achieved its interim goals: not only has it survived, but it has also built a stable team of seven or eight core members.Looking ahead, they plan to further expand their team by recruiting more programmers and game designers who are passionate about creation, so they can work together to build more interesting maps and carve out a broader future for themselves.
END
As a product born with UGC in its DNA, “Egg Party” has continuously refined its platform infrastructure over the past four years of operation, providing a practical answer to the question of “how to ensure the sustainability of content creation.”
From expanding creative boundaries with the Twin Star Editor, to lowering the barrier to entry through AI-powered end-to-end support, to ensuring revenue through a diversified monetization system, the UGC ecosystem of *Egg Party* is gradually becoming more robust.Today, creation here is no longer merely a labor of love; a comprehensive suite of tools and seamless monetization pathways provide creators with the solid confidence and unwavering motivation to bring their ideas to life.
As Yueban said, for some people, the act of creation itself holds an irreplaceable appeal. When this heartfelt passion is met with commensurate real-world rewards, I believe everyone will devote themselves to it wholeheartedly.
