Today (the 15th), Gigabit issued an announcement forecasting an increase in its 2026 interim earnings. The company expects to report net income attributable to shareholders of between 1.01 billion yuan and 1.10 billion yuan for the first half of 2026, representing a year-over-year increase of 57% to 71%;net profit excluding non-recurring items is projected to range from 995 million yuan to 1.095 billion yuan, representing a year-over-year increase of 54% to 69%. By comparison, Gibit’s net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2025 was 645 million yuan.
It is worth noting that this is Gigabit's strongest half-year report performance in the past three years.
"The Legend of the Sword and Staff" Has Made Significant Contributions Both at Home and Abroad
In the announcement, the profit growth was attributed to two main factors:
First, the full-cycle effect of existing new titles. The two titles, *Legend of the Sword and Staff (Mainland Edition)* and *Let’s Go Treasure Hunting, Fellow Daoists*, were launched in Q2 2025 and entered their first full operational cycle in the first half of 2026, resulting in a year-over-year increase in profits.

Second, the incremental impact of new titles in overseas and cross-regional markets.*Legend of the Sword (Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Edition)* and *Legend of the Sword (Japan Edition)* are scheduled to launch in Q3 2025, while *Quest for Immortality (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, and Korea Edition)* and *The Wilderness of the Nine Herds* are set to launch in Q4 2025, with both titles expected to contribute year-over-year growth for the first time in the first half of 2026.
In just six months—from Q2 to Q3 of 2025—*Legend of the Sword and Staff* was released consecutively across three regions: "Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, and Japan." This represents a pace of global expansion rarely seen at Gigabit in recent years.
At the same time, *Daoist Friends: Treasure Hunt*, *Quest for Immortality* (Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Edition), and *The Wilderness of the Nine Herds* were released one after another, collectively driving growth in Gibit’s net revenue.
Third, the profits of Gigabit’s associated companies increased year-over-year in the first half of the year, and Gigabit recorded a rise in investment income.
Giants Network's revenue from "Supernatural Task Force" nearly tripled year-over-year
Gigabit's strong performance is not an isolated case.
According to a performance forecast released by Giant Network on July 8, net profit attributable to shareholders for the first half of 2026 is expected to range from 2.0 billion to 2.2 billion yuan, representing a year-over-year increase of 157.38% to 183.12%;net profit excluding non-recurring items is expected to range from 2.2 billion to 2.4 billion yuan, representing a year-over-year increase of 172.74% to 197.54%.

The announcement attributed the growth primarily to the phenomenal mobile game *Supernatural Task Force*.During the Spring Festival, the game set new all-time highs for both daily and monthly revenue. After entering Q2, it maintained steady performance through events such as the “Treasure Hunting Festival,” and on July 2, it launched the “Yunnan Insect Valley” map—a collaboration with the nationally popular IP *Ghost Blows Out the Lamp*—to capitalize on the summer season; Its international version, *Tomb Busters*, launched in Japan, South Korea, and the U.S. on May 27, reaching No. 3 on Japan’s iOS Free Games chart and No. 7 in South Korea on its first day. Meanwhile, long-standing titles such as *Zhengtu* and *Bubble Battle* continued to release new updates, solidifying the company’s core user base.
Mid-sized companies such as Gigabit and Giant Network have achieved significant revenue growth thanks to blockbuster new products and appear to have once again tapped into the market's momentum.
