This highly anticipated open-world racing game is set for a global release on May 19 on Steam and Xbox consoles, and will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. As the latest installment in the *Forza Horizon* series, *Forza Horizon 6* marks the first time the game is set in Japan. Players will embark on a racing journey as tourists, completing various challenges to qualify for the Horizon Festival and ultimately unlock the exclusive challenge area, “Legendary Island.”To recreate an authentic racing experience, the development team traveled to Japan to conduct on-site research. They have created the largest game map in the series’ history, with the Tokyo area spanning five times the size of Guanajuato from the previous installment. The team has also recreated classic mountain roads such as Mount Haruna, striving to accurately capture the details of Japan’s natural landscapes and soundscapes.
In terms of vehicles and gameplay, *Forza Horizon 6* features a launch lineup of over 550 vehicles, including a wide range of classic Japanese performance cars and rare modified models. Players can explore the open world to discover and purchase these vehicles.The game introduces new features such as estate customization and car meetups, supporting personalized window decals and in-depth vehicle modifications. At the same time, classic multiplayer modes like "King of the Hill" make a comeback, further enhancing the game’s social aspects and creative freedom.
