"Tower of Babel: Vertical Kingdom" is a single-player simulation game that combines tower-building, resource management, and post-apocalyptic survival elements. As the "Tower Lord," players lead their people in constructing a colossal tower toward the sky in a world threatened by natural disasters, organizing production and defending against calamities within this vertical realm, with the ultimate goal of reaching the edge of the sky.
Wonders, technology, natural disasters… a rich main storyline centered on tower-building
The Early Access version includes the full main story, offers three difficulty levels, and provides at least dozens of hours of tower-building gameplay.
Compared to the previous demo version, the EA version has been significantly expanded and optimized in terms of content and gameplay systems.

Explore six atmospheric zones: Players can traverse six distinct atmospheric layers—the Sandstorm Zone, the Mist Zone, the Rain Zone, the Ice and Snow Zone, the Clear Sky Zone, and the Starry Sky Zone—each with its own unique environmental features and resource distribution.
Manta rays will visit the Rain Zone, while giant whales will swim through the Clear Skies Zone, adding rich ecological elements to the game.

Building the Miracle Tower: This brand-new landmark adds a sense of ceremony to players' building journey.
Each atmospheric region features a unique Miracle Tower structure. Once constructed, it not only increases the maximum Faith value of the tower’s inhabitants but, more importantly, reduces the threat of natural disasters, providing them with protection from the “divine.”

Unlock the tech tree step by step: The game features a comprehensive tech tree with over 70 unique buildings and technologies, allowing players to unlock new construction options and production facilities through research. The ability to upgrade towers is available by default from the start, making it easier to get started and reducing the cost of trial and error.

Dynamic Natural Disaster System: The natural disaster system, as the game’s core challenge mechanic, has been completely overhauled.
We have added instructional guidance regarding natural disasters, and the duration and intensity of these events will be dynamically adjusted based on the difficulty level.
In the mid-to-late stages of the game, players can even actively summon natural disasters through rituals. Harnessing the power of nature embodies humanity’s transition from passive defense to active control over the natural world, greatly enriching the gameplay.

When we discuss the Tower of Babel: More Than Just Construction
With its rich cultural atmosphere, *Tower of Babel: Vertical Kingdom* is far more than just a bland tower-building simulator.
During the design process, the development team drew heavily on a wide range of cultural works: Ted Jiang’s science fiction novel *The Tower of Babel* provided the game with philosophical depth; Erping Mian’s manga *The Labyrinth of the Tower* contributed a unique visual aesthetic; and the limitless possibilities of treehouse construction in *Minecraft* inspired the game’s design for freedom.

Through innovative features such as the Miracle Tower system and the Ritual Platform, the game skillfully integrates these cultural concepts into the actual gameplay.
The unique marvels found in each atmospheric region serve not only as milestones in the game’s progression but also embody humanity’s age-old aspiration to “build towers a hundred feet high and reach for the stars.”
The Ritual Platform system, in particular, highlights the game's strategic depth.

Players can unlock and construct ritual platforms in the tech tree to perform three different types of rituals: "Aether," "Vita," and "Fabrik":
Celestial rituals can influence the overall climate and external environment, and can even summon specific natural disasters; Living Being rituals primarily affect the condition of the Tower’s inhabitants, such as the [Migration Ritual], which expands the scope of work, and the [Flame Ritual], which enhances cold resistance; Mechanical rituals, on the other hand, have a direct impact on the Tower itself—for example, the [Ouroboros Ritual] enables inventory sharing between the top and bottom of the Tower. All rituals require a continuous consumption of resources to sustain them, forcing players to make strategic choices between long-term buffs and short-term bursts.

The development team hopes that as players experience vertical construction, they will feel a sense of cultural resonance that transcends time and space, transforming the building process from mere resource management into a profound exploration of vertical living.
This design philosophy, which blends multiple cultural elements, lies at the heart of *The Tower of Babel: Vertical Kingdom*.
In the EA version, the all-new Tower Residents' Wish System adds a warm, human touch to the game.
These busy little people are no longer just cold statistics in labor force data; they are living, breathing individuals with their own thoughts and aspirations.
They will use the Wishing Wall to share their requests with players; helping them fulfill their wishes not only boosts overall happiness but may also lead to unexpected, mysterious rewards.

This design philosophy reflects the development team’s values: rather than a cold, precise, industrial simulation, they hope that in *Tower of Babel: Vertical Kingdom*, players will experience a sense of grand responsibility and accomplishment while also being touched by the warmth of human connection.

The Early Access version of *Tower of Babel: Vertical Kingdom* is now officially available on Steam. It is priced at 42 yuan in the China region, but you can enjoy a 10% discount during the first two weeks of release, bringing the price down to just 37.8 yuan: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3209750
We invite all players to embark on this journey of defying the laws of gravity and write a new chapter in the history of human architecture high above the clouds.
