Earlier, Guo Weiwei, former CEO of Xishanju and producer of *Jian Wang 3*, posted on his personal Weibo account, announcing that he will soon be leaving Xishanju, where he has worked for many years.

Guo Weiwei is one of the most well-known game producers in China's online gaming industry.
After graduating, he joined Xishanju Studio, a subsidiary of Kingsoft, where he was involved in the early development of the *Sword and Fairy Online* series.
Around 2005, he began leading the project initiation and development of *Sword and Fairy Online 3* (also known as *JX3*), and after the game’s open beta launch in 2009, he continued to serve as its producer, taking full responsibility for the game’s version planning, content updates, and operational direction. He subsequently rose through the ranks to become CEO of Xishanju, where he oversaw the strategic planning of the company’s multiple product lines.
Under Guo Weiwei’s leadership, *Jian Wang 3* has undergone continuous updates for more than a decade, releasing dozens of expansions along the way. It has built a social ecosystem centered on traditional Chinese martial arts and expanded into the broader entertainment sector—including animation, film, and merchandise—becoming one of the benchmark titles in the Chinese MMORPG industry.
He is also known for his frequent interactions with players—whether taking the stage in person at annual press conferences to introduce new game updates or engaging directly with players on social media—which has earned him the community nickname “Knight Guo” and made him one of the few star producers in China’s gaming industry.
As of this writing, Xishanju has not yet issued a public statement regarding the future of the *Jian Wang 3* project or the changes in the company’s management. Guo Weiwei’s future plans also remain to be disclosed.
