Kingsoft World, a subsidiary of Kingsoft Corporation, and Finland-based Rovio Entertainment today officially announced the formation of a strategic partnership. The two companies will collaborate to bring the globally popular "Angry Birds" series back to the mainland Chinese market, with Kingsoft World assuming exclusive responsibility for the series' domestic distribution and operation.

It is reported that the "Angry Birds" series, developed and published by Rovio in 2009, has surpassed 5 billion cumulative downloads worldwide. As one of the iconic IPs of the early smartphone gaming era, it has accompanied countless Chinese players as they grew up, amassing a deep user base and a rich legacy of nostalgia.In the initial phase of this collaboration, the two parties will launch two core titles for the Chinese market: *Angry Birds: Classic Return* and *Angry Birds: Bubble Blast*. The former builds upon the classic slingshot gameplay, enhancing the experience through a 3D engine upgrade, dynamic level design, and a new magic system, while the latter features a lighthearted, casual bubble-popping puzzle-solving gameplay.

At the same time, to enrich the game’s ecosystem, the two companies have jointly launched the “Mischief Workshop” Creator Program, inviting community creators to participate in the creation of original content such as custom levels and visual art. Both Rovio and Kingsoft World Games have stated that they will leverage their respective strengths to advance the localized operation of the *Angry Birds* IP in China, explore diverse development paths, and breathe new life into this classic IP.
