Shenzhen’s First BIG Indie Game Expo to Kick Off in January; 49 Indie Games to Be Featured

Shenzhen finally has its own dedicated indie game festival! The first-ever BIG (Best Indie Game) Indie Game Expo is here in a big way, putting the spotlight entirely on indie games themselves.

This event will feature 49 indie games, developer teams from across the country, and numerous booths selling carefully curated games and merchandise.

This exhibition was organized by the Shenzhen indie game development community 【Pengyou Harbor】 and centers on fostering in-depth interaction between developers and players. We hope to return the spotlight and attention to what truly matters—the indie games themselves.

Here, players can not only discover their favorite titles and experience unexpected, creative gameplay, but they may also meet fellow indie game enthusiasts, talk face-to-face with indie game developers about their creative journeys, and forge a more authentic and meaningful connection with indie games.

Prize Draw Details:
There will be multiple prize draw sessions on both days of the expo, with a total prize pool valued at over 20,000 yuan. Prizes include a PS5, Yiwei monitors, Feizhi controllers, Gundam models, Pokémon merchandise, and trading cards…

Exhibition Activities:
BINGO Stamp Collection: The BIG Expo features a BINGO-style stamp collection activity, encouraging attendees to create their own unique exhibition journey through gameplay.
Stage Challenges: Throughout the two-day event, the stage will host a continuous lineup of game challenges. Events ranging from Gundam battles to party game competitions and speedrun challenges will take place one after another, and players are free to sign up to participate. All participants will receive exquisite gifts jointly prepared by the event organizers and exhibitors.
