The Northeast Independent Game Expo (AMOS) is back for its fourth edition, and we’re thrilled to introduce—the Tingyan Art Museum.

Ting: Refers to water that has come to a standstill and is pooled without flowing.

‌谰: to slander, to falsely accuse.

Combining the characters “涟” and “静” yields the phrase “a deceptively calm water surface,” which refers to a situation where there is turmoil beneath the surface.

The name of this year’s exhibition is a homophone for the venue’s name, using the classic “art museum theme” found in horror puzzle games to depict both the inner and outer worlds. A dedicated Steam page has also been launched to celebrate the Ninth Art together.
